These are great book spine poems. I amazed that you have so many books with verbs in the title. That is always my stumbling block with book spines. I get caught up in imagery and wordplay and then don’t have any verbs!
I challenged myself to use some of my unread books rather than favorites. I had many false starts and rejected book stacks after just the problem that you identify emerged: wordplay with no verbs!

Evocative is the perfect word for book spine poetry. I love how distilled they are and how they hint at much bigger thoughts. They’re a little bit addictive to create too!
