I am joining Trina Haase at Trinarrative for a daily haiku challenge.
I have been trying to bring a haiku mindset to my daily tasks, and during the all-too-brief pomegranate season, that includes daily pomegranate prep. One pomegranate, split among three of us, my son getting the lion’s share. The Pomegranate Council promises a 3-Step No Mess approach that I really ought to try, but so far, I’ve done it my own way, which is apparently the long hard slow way. It takes quite a bit of time and makes quite a bit of mess, but it’s not bad for writing haiku.

How timely! I got a pomegranate today!
Yum! Enjoy!
If you can believe it, I have never tried pomegranate! Your Haiku makes me want to!
Oh wow! It’s the season for a little while longer! And at this time of year, it’s hard to pick a bad one.
