Winter Day Haiku: Haiku-A-Day Challenge #17

I’m joining Trina Haase at Trinarrative for a daily haiku challenge this month.

South Dakota has unusual winter weather. Plenty of cold and snow and wind. But also winter days when it’s nearly sixty degrees and the sun’s shining and we can all escape the house to the porch. Today was one of those days.

fifty in winter
means warm enough for yoga
mat and cats on porch
