I’m joining Trina Haase at Trinarrative for a daily haiku challenge this month.
After the presents are unwrapped on Christmas, we leave the piles of paper on the floor all day as a special Christmas treat for cats. They creep and pounce and hide and tiptoe and spook and slide. Then they nap for awhile, and napping seems to help them forget. Refreshed, they saunter into the living room and discover wonderland all over again. More creeping and pouncing and hiding and tiptoeing and spooking and sliding.
