Magnet Poetry: Playing with Poetry #playingwithpoetryNPM 20/30

This month, I’m tagging along with ChristieMargaretJoneMary Lee, and other writers to play with poetry for National Poetry Writing Month. I’ll be creating poems using haikubes, metaphor dice, magnet poetry, paint chips and anything else that catches my fancy.

There’s always a day in the early 20s of every daily writing challenge I undertake where I think I’m going to have to throw in the towel because there is literally nothing–NOTHING–to write. I messed around with magnet poetry for awhile but couldn’t make anything work, so I switched to haikubes and tried to get something there. Nothing. Finally, I decided to take what was right in front of me–

  1. KITTY!
And, been thinking about the Paint Chip/Haikubes you’ve taught me, and was inspired when stocking the Essie Nail Polish the other day at work… 🙂 Thank you for helping me see inspiration in the little things.
