Time for Essentials: A Haiku #WritingwithWoolf #NationalPoetryMonth #NaPoWriMo2020

For National Poetry Month, I’m writing poems inspired by words, ideas, and images in Virginia Woolf’s Diary.

Today I worked from a line I’d copied into my notebook earlier in the month:

At 46 one must be a miser; only have time for essentials.

Day #29: Time for Essentials

a room with a view
quiet space and solitude
an open notebook

So, I’ve found your blog through #SOL21, and now I’m looking at your NaPoWriMo posts. I love that you focused all of your writing on Virginia Woolf. What a cool idea. I am in the midst of planning for this April, and there are so many wonderful ideas here. Thank you for sharing!
