I always love to see your cat pix, Elisabeth. As much as I like looking at cat photos, is it weird that we no longer have cats? We did when we lived way out in the country (and even for a little while when we moved in town). Then when I first got pregnant, I couldn’t handle the thought of getting new kittens and having a litter box in the house with crawling infants. Lately, Brayla and I have both been pushing for the addition of a new cat or two, though. I’m wondering how Cocoa (our dog) would do with a cat-sibling. Hmmm.
I highly recommend a kitten sibling set! One of our family sayings is “Kittens are like cupcakes, and you should never get just one.” Well, that’s MY saying, but now everyone else in my house says it too! Our sib group of 4 is just amazing together, and it’s really kind of like just having one really big cat rather than 4 different ones. They sleep in a big pile, eat out of the same bowl at the same time, keep each other busy playing, etc. I love watching their interactions. So I’m a BIG fan of your and Brayla’s plan for TWO new cats. BIG YES from me!!!! (Let me know if I should start texting Lee each day about the wonders and joys of kitten sibling sets! I’m READY!)
Love these!!!
Aren’t they the best?
My daughter is a cat person, and regularly shares pictures of them with me. She used to do it just to mess with me, but I think it’s just a habit now. Thanks for sharing yours–I enjoy the pictures.
Ha! My husband is very used to seeing pix of OUR cats, but I have now taken to sharing all the pix of STRANGERS’ cats that I find on the Internet with him. I’m not sure he’s nearly as interested as I am. I love that your daughter has decided this will be a way that you two bond!
